Supporting the Next Generation of Ocean & Coastal Leaders
Leveraging partnerships with NOAA, ocean conservation nonprofits, and local industry stakeholders, Florida Sea Grant administers a number of funding opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students at Florida universities.
Florida Sea Grant’s student funding opportunities span a range of interests and enable students to make a real difference for Florida’s coast while carving out their own path for the future.
In 2023, FSG awarded $745,977 in internships, scholarships and fellowships to 33 students working to address prominent coastal issues at 9 Florida universities.
