About
Brigid earned her Masters of Arts in Mass Communication at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. A certificate in Web Design and Online Communication was also pursued in combination with her M.A. degree. She graduated at the top of her class, and while a student was inducted as a member into the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society.
As Florida Sea Grant’s digital communications specialist, Brigid is in charge of the organization’s flagship social media accounts and website. She is a content creator, webmaster and communications strategist responsible for developing digital products that engage Florida Sea Grant’s audiences and increase their literacy of coastal and marine issues.
